We just spent the wonderful weekend in Orlando for Bradley and Amanda's wedding! It was so beautiful and a really sweet event. However, now we both realize our wedding is FIVE WEEKS AWAY! How crazy! Time has flown by since October, and plans are starting to fall into place! We checked the RSVP page and it makes it so real because there are RSVPs! Thank you everyone! We are so very excited for our marriage and especially to celebrate with all our dear friends. Our new home is coming along and really taking shape! We have almost finished our bedroom and it's very exciting! We will post before and after photos when the whole house is completed!
Thank you to everyone for loving and supporting us through this crazy ride!

Engaged and In Love!
Tyson proposed to me on October 30, 2010 when we were all dressed up for Halloween. I had been not-so-subtly hinting that we should be getting engaged sometime soon. We had known since we were dating for three weeks that we wanted to be married. It was wonderful dating and getting to know each other, but we both (I more forcefully :) ) felt it was time to move on with our relationship. I had changed his ringtone to "Take me down to the little white church" by Little BigTown if any of you know that song.. hahaha... However, after a few disappointing dates where I had thought the proposal would happen, I gave up and decided to coast and quit looking for signs of Tyson preparing to pop the question. This is what made is proposal so wonderful! Tyson had planned for the two of us to join the rest of his family at Aunt Holly's parent's house for games on Halloween. I was upset. I always love going to hang out with everyone, but I felt it was a lost evening for an opportunity to get engaged because so many people would be there.. boy was I wrong! We arrived and Mary and Kelly's house and I suspected nothing. Courtney, our adorable little cousin asked me if I wanted to play "Barbie Go Shopping" with her, which was a pink version of Go Fish. I said that would be great, and Aunt Holly and Tyson joined in. After a couple rounds, I asked Courtney if she had any "Bracelets" she said yes! and slides one over. I immediately stuck the card straight into my hand with the rest, and I realized everyone caught their breath and all eyes were on me. As I am totally blonde, I shrugged it off as being an intense Go Shopping game. A few more rounds were played and I eventually gathered all the "Bracelets"! A set of 4! Tyson said he did not believe I had all of them, so I spread out the cards on the table for him to see. Then I noticed something was different. One of the cards had writing on them.. "Will you marry me?" WHAT?? I simply stared at it, looked at Tyson who had a silly grin on his face, then stared back at the card. I'd like to think I had a smile on my face, but I was stunned! Not unhappy at all, just taken by complete surprise! Finally, Tyson's mom Mary Anne, said "Tyson! Get down on your knee!" He goes, "Oh!" gets down, and says, "Lizz, Will you marry me?" Now that I was out of my coma, I said, "Yes! yes! I Will!" Then, he pulls out a ring pop. "Oh, thanks for the joke Tyson, not funny!" "No, Lizz! I'm serious! I am having your ring special made, but I couldn't wait any longer!" Then I put the ring pop on, and Courtney brings in two dozen red and white roses, with a ribbon tied around the vase. On the ribbon was tied an amethyst ring, my birthstone. Tyson said that this ring will have to do until we pick up my new one. It was lovely in every way! It was the perfect proposal! I had no idea, everyone was there and it was adorable. I wouldn't have had us start our new journey together any other way.
